Earlier I was on an isotretinoin course prescribed by my dermatologist. I started with 10 mg in September, then went up to 20 mg and later 30 mg. I stopped in January because the skin got extremely dry—I could barely open my eyes. Right now I'm using SPF 50+++, Ahaglow moisturizer, and Afilada Vitamin C face wash, but I haven't seen any improvement in the acne marks since I stopped the isotretinoin.

This is quite common after isotretinoin, so don't worry. After such treatment the skin barrier becomes very sensitive and dehydrated, which means the marks take longer to fade. Right now it's more about healing than treating—gentle hydration, barrier repair, and sunscreen. You could try something soothing with ingredients like niacinamide or fermented extracts. I'm using Rivola Restore face moisturizer; you can check it out.

The most important thing is to keep the skin properly hydrated, because the barrier is compromised in these scars. Good hydration helps the skin repair itself. I suggest adding a silicon‑based product and Vitamin C. Secondly, protect your skin from the sun—dark spots absorb sunlight and get darker, so a good SPF is a must.
