Koraput, Odisha – easily one of the darkest skies in mainland India, yet hardly talked about. Far from city lights, the night here opens up in a way most places don't anymore – clean, deep, and quietly unreal.

And before you start saying "AI" or "photoshop", understand what astrophotography really involves. These aren't fake skies – they're captured with long exposures where the camera gathers faint light our eyes can't see in real time. Sometimes I stack multiple shots to cut down noise and bring out detail, then process them in Lightroom, Siril, etc., to tweak contrast, colour, and clarity – enhancing what's already there, not creating something new. It's not manipulation; it's patience, technique, and respect for the sky.

All these photos are shot by me, using my Nikon.

Beautiful! How many shots did you stack?

Finally, something truly unique and fresh—rather than the usual mountain‑trek posts.
