This is for anyone over 25 preparing for government exams – you're not falling behind, trust me.

My coworker shared that her sister's brother finished his degree in 2022. He never cared about govt exams, so he started doing internships, many unpaid. Later he landed a paid internship paying 5000/- per month, 25 km from his home.

In 2023 he got his first job in Delhi at 25,000/-. He switched jobs twice, each time getting a better package and a promotion – around 40,000/-. But the work environment wasn't good, so he returned to his first company and now earns 45,000/- in Delhi. He's 27, works 13+ hours daily, has no girlfriend, drinks on weekends "to enjoy life", and never takes vacations because he can't get leave.

Even after 4‑5 years of 12‑13‑hour days, he's still not earning 50k a month. Clearing the PO exam can put you in a far better spot and ahead of people around you. That made sense to me.

So if it takes a little longer, that's fine – let it happen. One day it'll arrive and you'll be ahead of everyone. Just don't give up.

That's something, for sure. Keep spreading the positivity.

Ranjit

I'm on my final clerk attempt this year.

I know we shouldn't compare, but it can be motivating! All those folks who made us feel insecure for not earning yet will be left behind if we clear the PO exam. Makes sense, thank you :)

Anyone saying banking isn't good probably won't quit their job. Yes, there's pressure and stress, but you get job security and social status.

Ashok

It's needed in banking PO too – there's pressure, but it's on the whole branch, not just you. You still have job security, which is the main thing, and no political pressure. Guys, please don't give up.

Needed this, man. Thanks!!!
