Reminder: use this for body tan

Hey folks, this subreddit's been hit‑or‑miss for me because every skin tone is different.

Just so you know, I'm not promoting any brand or oil – I only heard about it here. For years I've had a body tan and never used sunscreen on my face or arms until last year. I have combo skin and bought this after reading reviews here. Some said it caused acne on the face, but thanks to a simple face wash I managed the breakouts and decided not to risk random products on my face.

I tend to have a lot of body heat. I eat meat almost every other day and can handle spice well. My body heat is so high that my feet feel hot at night and I need a cold shower.

So I applied this oil all over my body, avoiding face and neck. I found it stains a lot – on clothes or anything you touch. I wrapped an old towel, smeared the oil, waited about 45 min, then took a lukewarm shower without soap (so as not to strip the oil's benefits). It was hard to wipe off the greasy feel, but I managed to keep it on my skin. No yellow tint appeared.

I was thrilled because I could see a lighter skin tone right after the wash. I'm no expert, but I'd recommend it for people with high body heat and combo skin like me.

I've been using this for a month now on my face and hands. I usually leave it on for 30 min, then wash it off. I don't use any other skincare products, just a simple face wash. Honestly, I haven't seen any improvement – my bad tan actually seems to have gotten worse.

You won't believe it, but Patanjali Aloe Vera soap actually helped reduce my body tan. It's a bit drying, but I could see the difference when I used it at a friend's house.
