Cricinfo says Stokes is still active in franchise cricket. He couldn't be picked in earlier IPL seasons, but the current rules now allow teams to select him.

Larry

RR because of their history and the Sam Curran slot.

Hardik

He can't join the mini auction because he never registered for the mega auction.

Varunesh

He isn't eligible for the next mini auction, if I recall correctly. Still, if he does become available, I could see DC, LSG and maybe KKR or CSK giving him a shot.

Manish

RR for sure.

They love him and kept him in the squad even when he wasn't in form.

Neha

He's the biggest IPL fraud that no one's called out.

The last time he played a full IPL season was 2018, when he featured in 13 matches. Since then he's only managed two or three games each season.

He's earned about ₹80.75 cr in the IPL but hasn't delivered any notable performances. In my view he's the biggest scammer in IPL history, fooling teams for years.

I'm talking about playing a full season, let alone delivering results.

Kiran

Kolkata Knight Riders. They'll free up cash after letting go of Pathirana and Mustafizz, so they need an overseas bowler. Stokes can bowl in all three phases, though he won't captain - he'd play under Pandya.

Mister

Probably SRH, since Pat Cummins isn't available.

Shivendra

He hasn't played a proper T20 match in the last two years. Even in England's own league, The Hundred, he's not featured. If he does become eligible for the next mini auction, he'll likely go for the base price or end up unsold.

Govind

LSG already has a strong bowling line‑up, so they should spend on 2‑3 quality batters. You won't get Stokes cheap, so LSG should steer clear.

Samar

Too old to play.
He lost his thunder after COVID.
