What I liked:

Moisturiser - it's a solid, butter‑and‑oil rich formula that keeps lips soft for hours and spreads smoothly. The vanilla scent is pleasant.

Packaging is compact and fits easily in a pocket.

SPF concerns:
It uses octinoxate, an older chemical filter that can be absorbed into the body and may affect hormones. That's a red flag for me.

Brightening claim:
The product suggests it can lighten lips but there's no active brightening ingredient - it only blocks sun, so the lips don't get darker. The claim feels misleading.

So, should you buy it?

Good for moisture, not great for sun protection. I'd rate it 6/10 overall. If you're careful about what gets absorbed, consider Minimalist, Wishcare or Deconstruct, which are similarly priced and use safer filters.

I can confirm - there's no brightening effect as claimed. It does keep the lips hydrated for a couple of hours.

I wanted to try this for its sun protection factor, so should I buy it or not?
