Aarav

Rani has done all this within mainstream cinema. What sets her apart is that she's taken on many roles and makes each one distinct - not just by changing the look (she always pays great attention to the character's appearance) but also by altering the body language so the role truly shines. She's also one of the few actresses who fights for a back-story for her characters and insists that every woman she plays has a profession in the film. Since Saathiya she has understood what powerful storytelling means. She ensures the women she portrays have agency, silently making bold choices that have pushed Indian cinema forward in how mainstream heroines are written. And the best part is she shows that women can have desires (like in Paheli, Kank, Aiyyaa) just like men - there's a female gaze too. She even performed a belly dance for the whole subject.

Simran

She's absolutely goated.

Jai

She hasn't taken on a villain role yet, otherwise she's covered it all.

Vaishali

She truly is a versatile and talented actress - one of Bollywood's GOATs for sure.

Jyoti.kumar

She's a better actress than those who get praise just for being in boring masterpieces.

Deepak

I need the names of all her movies, OP.

Meera

Rani was born to be an actress - incredibly versatile. She's been my favourite since childhood, right alongside Priyanka. She's the true Bollywood Rani. Plus she's absolutely gorgeous; her smile is charming and her eyes are just captivating, which helps her express emotions on screen.

Parth

Her voice is the first thing that comes to mind whenever I hear her name.

Charu

Great compilation and post! She's a beautiful and wonderful actress. I still look forward to her movies ❤️ My all-time favourites are Black, Hum Tum, Saathiya, Yuva and Hitchki.

Born to be, she just has it.
