I recently visited the Google office in Bangalore and was surprised by the pantry. They had unlimited free snacks, juices, protein bars, healthy packaged snacks, nuts - basically everything you could want. It made me wonder which other companies in India have similar perks. Are there any Indian startups that run a fully stocked free snack pantry for employees? Would love to hear from folks who've worked at places with great office food and snack benefits.

Microsoft offers plenty of free pantry items, but I don't think it's at Google level.

Kanchan

LinkedIn, Yahoo, SAP and a few other product GCCs that I know of.

I work at a small 20-person startup. I get double tea, unlimited Diet Coke and a fruit a day. I was sold on the unlimited Diet Coke. Funny enough, this is my second company - my previous 50-person startup also gave the same perks plus free lunch.

Avalara provides lunch, dinner and snacks every day at their new office. Tea and coffee are effectively unlimited thanks to the dispensing machine, and there are biscuits to go with them.

I'm low-key jealous of people who get food and snacks at the office.

Nvidia doesn't quite match Google level (still close), but the food options are excellent. We have several company-sponsored outlets serving a mix of South, North, global/Pacific cuisines, salads, and plenty of veg and non-veg dishes. You can eat there or pack food to take home.

There's also a juice counter and a bistro with free drinks and bakery items.

Every floor has a pantry with coffee machines, fresh milk, buttermilk, flavored shakes, cookies, biscuits, nuts and other snacks. We also get a rotating fruit-of-the-day selection that employees can take (within reason, so everyone gets some).

Coming from WITCH and similar places with just a coffee machine, it feels like a huge upgrade.

I don't think anyone can beat TCS here. Unlimited tea (Taj Mahal tea bags), unlimited coffee with milk (the high-quality powder milk sometimes gives you gas, so you get a free sick day). No one can top this pro-employee thinking.
