V. Jayaprakash and Naren (also known as Adukalam Naren) are, in my view, the most reliable character artists. They can pull off a wide range of roles. They've been in tons of post-2010 films; pick any random Tamil movie from that period and there's a good chance they have a role in it.

Cricfan

It's getting tougher to think of a film that doesn't feature them. Goated character artists.

Akshara

Yeah, they're very versatile and fit perfectly into any role they get.

Shekar

Right now I'm just watching the movie *Nanban*.

Shruti

Perfect examples of "nalla kettavan".

Shanta

In your town you say one thing, in our town we...

Meera

Both Jayaprakash and Narain are incredibly good, yet we don't appreciate them enough. You've seen them as typical fathers, loving elders, even the cruelest villains, and they never feel monotonous, though there's a familiar thread across their roles.

Shanta

Naren is forever goated for singing "mangaai... Nilavin thangaai" in *All in All Azhaguraja*.

Krishna

Illavarasu Sir, M.S. Bhaskar Sir and Velaramamoorthy Sir all great, versatile actors.

Varun

Both of them make an impact even with limited screen time. For example, Naren appears in just 3-4 scenes in *Jigarthanda*, and each one is memorable. Same goes for *Nanban*.
