Tatkal scam: OTP verified twice, still broker gets ticket

This is a serious issue. My family and I were just discussing yesterday how tough it has become to book tickets ourselves and how much we now rely on brokers. In the last three months we booked about four or five tickets, and we could manage to book only one on our own. The other three or four times we paid a broker for premium Tatkal, which doubled the cost.
