Okay to use high‑end sunscreen for 1st application and cheap one for reapplying?

Can I put on a high‑end sunscreen like BOJ, Rilastil or La Roche‑Posay for my morning/first layer and then switch to a more affordable option such as Dot & Key, WishCare, Foxtale, Plum or Conscious Chemist for the later re‑applications? Since reapplying several times gets pricey, I'm trying to balance protection with budget. Has anyone tried this long‑term? Any issues with protection, layering or formulation compatibility?

It's better to stick with the high‑end one during peak UV times or when you're out in direct sunlight.

Exactly, that's my routine too – if I kept reapplying with my LRP, it would eat up half my salary.
