Rupa Bayor, a top‑level Taekwondo practitioner from Arunachal Pradesh, has been making history in the Poomsae discipline. She just bagged a bronze at the 2026 Asian Taekwondo Poomsae Championships, becoming the first Indian to earn back‑to‑back medals at this event. The win also came after she qualified to represent India at the 2026 Asian Games. Bayor is the first woman from her state to reach World No. 1 in Poomsae, and her hard work is bringing huge pride to her state and the country.
