Best purchase so far - probably my best flagship ever

Coming from a Samsung S24 Ultra, trust me when I say this: I don't regret it one bit.

Camera: 9/10

Battery: 10/10

Software experience: 8/10

Overall performance and everything: 9/10

Every device has its pros and cons.

Coming from One UI, I'm missing a couple of AI features and especially the secure folder, but nothing major.

I used to hate ColorOS, but now it's on a whole new level – stability, smoothness, bug‑free experience, and no lag at all.

Reason for switching: Samsung's poor camera, terrible battery life, heating issues, and occasional laggy software.

Overall, I'm satisfied with this purchase.

Device: OPPO FIND X9 PRO

Congrats, brother! Welcome to the Find X family.

Hey, congratulations! I'm thinking of getting one for my mom – either the X9 Pro or the X9.

Congrats. I grabbed the base model last week and the battery backup is amazing – it lasts about 2 days with 4 hours of screen‑on time. I'm keeping both the S24U and the X9 now.

For a secure folder, ColorOS offers Private Safe. Go to My Files and scroll down to locate it.

OS – 8/10? I'd give it 10/10 except for a few niche features like DeX and GoodLock, which are overrated and barely used. Color/OxygenOS is the best UI out there. I used the S23 for a year and its UI is garbage – the design language, consistency, and 60 Hz jitters are terrible for me. One UI is just overrated.

I love One UI, but Samsung's hardware is falling behind in camera and battery life, and it's pricier too.

I upgraded from the S23 to the Vivo X300.

I hope Samsung loses enough sales globally so they step up – competition is good for us consumers. In reality, they only see Apple as a rival in the flagship segment, and most people still won't buy a ₹1 lakh Oppo or Vivo.

Shivam

How much did it cost you?

Edit: Saw other comments – that's a good price, congratulations. I wanted to buy this but ended up with the Vivo X200t for ₹54,000 (512 GB variant).
