Firstly, my qualifications: 10th - 84%, 12th - 83% with 5 subjects or 77.6% with 6 subjects. Graduation just started. My 12th was PCB (no maths), OBC male (why PCB? - my parents). After 12th I took a drop year for NEET online - this year (why I took? - my parents). 2008 is my birth year.

Why CAT? - because I have no interest in biology, I like maths, data and everything. For CAT, profile matters a lot (that's what I think, it helps in selection).

So, as I said, I have no interest in bio, and I have two options for graduation.

First: take a biology-related stream in college and prepare for CAT side-by-side. The college will be the one I get through CUET - DU, BHU have very low chance because my drop year was full of health issues, both physical and mental; now I am healthy.

Second: take physics as a subject (why physics? - I like it more than bio) in a private college, probably tier-3 (why tier-3? - I have no maths, so nobody will accept me). Even if CAT doesn't go well, I plan to become a physics teacher or professor - via KV exams, PCS etc.

Third option - take whatever course I get, then appear for CUET again to get DU (won't take another drop, will keep health good) - for a better profile.

Last option - just obey my parents and do what they want, later calling it my choice (take another drop for NEET - I don't want that).

I will try my best to get a good GPA in college. I just read my own post and realized, "yeah, I've totally cooked myself." I'm so done... So guys, share your thoughts, suggestions, guidance. I'll wait for all the suggestions <(\_/)>

You can choose either physics or zoology as you said, but make sure your CGPA is above 6 while you're preparing for CAT. BBA isn't useful; a science degree keeps your options open if you later decide to switch to an MBA within the next three years.

You could do NIOS maths during your drop year or first year of BSc, appear for JEE, and then pick any maths-related subject later.
