I've been using FAE Beauty Lipwhip for almost 7 months and out of the blue one day my lower lip got super dry. It soon formed tiny blisters and then dark patches. The doctor said it was an allergy, gave me some meds and the swelling went down, but I still think the lipstick is the culprit because it always left my lips dry and it's the only one I've been using.

After about 2 weeks my lips seemed normal, so I tried the lipstick again to test it. Bam! This time my upper lip got messed up. It's now been 2 months and the dryness and dark spots are still there.

Has anyone else experienced the same problem with FAE Beauty Lipwhip?

Did you use the same tube or a fresh one?

It's possible to develop a new allergy to the same product - the body can react unpredictably. Also, the lipstick might have gone bad if it wasn't stored properly; liquid lipsticks can spoil quickly in the summer heat.

I'd suggest stopping the lipstick until your lips are back to normal.

I used Glaws by FAE and my lips got really dry and turned black in the AC.

Listen, this can happen if you eat too many mangoes. I get the exact same reaction when I eat mangoes, especially Alfonso or any mango that's fibrous.
