So this was my third attempt at NEET and it turned out to be a total mess. I don't think I'll make it to any college, and I've realized NEET just isn't for me. Now I need advice about college options. I didn't appear for CUET – is there any way out of this loop? I'm thinking of doing a BSc from a local college. Is that a good decision? How can I make it worthwhile and what are the future options? Any BSc Physics graduates here, please share your experience in the comments (I'll read and reply to everyone). I have completed 12th (PCB – 72%).

Bro, re-NEET is happening now. Same situation here, but I'll try to score at least 350-400 in re-NEET since I've genuinely wasted time and scored extremely low in my previous attempts.

BSc Physics alone doesn't have much scope in India. If you want to pursue it, go ahead, but also start building other skills. Try to get internships during college to boost your resume. After that, consider a Master's – either at a top Indian college (work hard to secure a good seat) or abroad (better option). Another route is to do an MBA after BSc Physics, if you're interested in finance and related fields.

Don't take any more drops. Even if you get into a medical college, things won't be as great as you think. Without a PG, you'll struggle to get a 60-70k job, and you might end up serving 2-3 years in rural areas. FIRST, get out of this loop. Be kind to yourself, forget about NEET, and stop following influencers who remind you of it. Consider an easy graduation like BA, which won't take much time, and then prepare for CGL – starting salary around 80-90k, relatively easier for you. Or you could try CAT and do an MBA, or do BSc Nursing and aim for AIIMS Nursing Officer exams. Stay happy!

You can go for private colleges if you have the money, otherwise consider distance learning – though that may not be very useful either.

I have a friend who appeared for NEET four times. He was passionate about it. First time he scored poorly, second time around 400, then another attempt he got just 3 marks more, but he didn't quit. In his final attempt he scored about 600! I'm not recommending taking a drop, just sharing his experience.
