If they'd cut love story & give him more screen time, he'd lift film like in Kalki

Brahmastra would still have been cringe, to be honest, but at least it could've been lifted a bit. What bugged me the most is they didn't give AB's character any proper mass moment to shine, otherwise he'd have outshone everyone. Anyway, fingers crossed they fix it in Part 2.

Avni

The movie lacked conviction. They didn't take the franchise seriously. Marvel works because they convince us to suspend disbelief – we accept a guy getting angry and turning into a green giant without ripping his pants. Joking aside, we never got a proper intro to the tesseract or the infinity stones; the audience had to figure it out after the film. The Astra were explained as if we were kids.

Saritha

How could anyone expect mass moments from Ayan Mukerji? He had SRK and Amitabh in the same film and turned one into a useless exposition machine while the other spouted nonsense and even got beaten by a villain's henchman.

Bhavya

It had a lot of potential, not gonna lie, but they ruined it with the endless Shiva bits.

Kiran

They should've cut the whole love story – it was a waste of time, no chemistry, just didn't work. There were plenty of interesting characters, storylines, and concepts that could've been explored.

Ranjit

Bhai saab, in Kalki Amitabh's character had gravitas and depth. In this film only SRK looked cool and fun, probably because the other characters had the charisma of a rotten onion – all thanks to bad writing. I haven't seen Ranbir or Alia perform this poorly before.

Ehsan

They should've written Alia's character off in the first part itself – there was zero chemistry in their love story.

Gauri

The film got ruined by the bland RK‑Alia pairing, plus a weak storyline and direction.

Gayatri

A love story wasn't needed. It could've been a self‑discovery journey for Rambir, with the three biggies – AB, SRK and Nagarjuna – guiding him. That would have been a stellar concept. Instead, they added endless Shiva cringe and killed the film's vibe.

What is Amitabh Bachchan after Lady Amitabh? It's just weird.
