Garam Masala is the best comedy of Akshay Kumar, performance-wise, because the role was really tough. It's underrated – everyone talks about Hera Pheri, Bhagam Bhag etc., but not many appreciate this film or his work here. This scene is the funniest from the movie.

Shooting 70-80% of the film inside a hall is tough, but they nailed it. Very underrated and funny. Even John was hilarious in this film.

John ne jab pehli baar shooting ki thi, tab woh itni tezi se dialogue bolkar aur scene karke thak gaya tha aur movie se nikalna chahta tha, lekin baad mein Priyadarshan ne samjhaane par maan gaya.
