After almost 8 years, I finally retired my POCO F1 (₹22K) and upgraded to the Vivo X300 (₹63K).

The biggest shock wasn't the new phone, it was seeing how the "value flagship" price bracket has changed. What used to be around ₹20K now costs over ₹60K. Times have really changed.

That said, the POCO F1 was an absolute legend. It still works fine like good wine - aged beautifully, smooth and reliable, giving me years of solid performance. Easily one of the best value‑for‑money phones ever made.

Huge thanks to this community for all the reviews, suggestions and honest feedback. I read a lot here, did my own research too, and finally went for the Vivo X300.

Now hoping this one lasts just as long... maybe another 8+ years.

Anyone else recently upgraded after many years and got hit with today's smartphone prices?

Congrats a lot, buddy! You'll definitely capture some masterpieces with that fine beast.

Congratulations on your new phone.

I've been using my K20 Pro for 7 years and was planning to upgrade, but after seeing the huge jump in smartphone prices – mostly because of RAM costs – I put the plan on hold. The phone is still in pristine condition, so I'll probably keep it for another 3 years unless a truly value‑for‑money device shows up.

The value‑flagship segment is now sitting in the ₹50‑60K price range.

Congrats, buddy. The X300 is a great device, but the era of the POCO F1 and OnePlus One is over. New smartphones don't last as long these days. I have an S23 and after just 3 years I'm seeing battery wear and the low‑light camera is becoming unusable. Still, I plan to use it until it finally gives up.

Congrats on the purchase!!

If you want a more manageable case, feel free to check this out.

It protects the phone well without adding much weight or needing hand gymnastics. I've been using it for a couple of months now.

Good stuff, mate. How did your POCO last this long? Wow! I had a POCO F1 back in the day too, but I've upgraded three times since then – from POCO F1 to Samsung Galaxy S20 FE Exynos, then Pixel 7A, and now Vivo X200T.

Guys, what do you think about the Vivo X200T – is it worth it? I need to upgrade. Right now I don't have a phone, the old one works fine, but I want eSIM and a better camera. Please advise.

I'm looking at the X200T or the Pixel 10, with a budget of up to ₹60K.
