Nietzsche's advice on marriage... (Aphorism 406 of *Human, All Too Human*, 1878). He says marriage is like a long chat. Before tying the knot, ask yourself: can I keep having good talks with this lady even when we're old? Everything else may change, but most of our time together is spent talking.

Pretty nice philosophy! Though from my experience, introverts and extroverts handle conversations differently. Sometimes it takes a bit for the chat to flow.
