The film doesn't focus on her acting; it highlights her flaws and highs. It feels really honest and isn't a 2.5 hr ruddudu like the NTR biopic or the recent Michael biopic.

Keerthy's script choices after this film will be interesting.

We tend to connect more with stories that reflect our own culture and upbringing. For instance, many of us don't relate to 'Killers of the Flower Moon' the way we do with films like 'Bharateeyudu', which are rooted in familiar themes and sensibilities.

Nah, it's not. It's a nice tribute, but not a solid biopic. It skips her stubbornness, financial recklessness, and lack of clarity and honesty. In my view, Nag Ashwin made a loving elegy, not a truthful portrait. As an artistic choice it's fine, but it's still not a true biopic.

If you've seen Citizen Kane you'd disagree. They lifted the whole 'Rosebud' plot. It feels fresh for most viewers, since there aren't many female biopics in Telugu/India. 'The Dirty Picture' is closer and far better.
