Ranveer‑Aditya Dhar project real? Expectations sky‑high

[Ravi]

There are some reports floating around that Ranveer Singh and Aditya Dhar are in talks for a film based on Chandragupta Maurya. Nothing confirmed yet, but if this actually happens, it has serious potential.

Aditya Dhar already proved with his three films that he can handle scale, nationalism, and tight storytelling. And Ranveer, when he's controlled and not over‑the‑top, can absolutely pull off intensity and transformation. Chandragupta Maurya's story itself is insane – rise from nothing, guided by Chanakya.

What are your thoughts on this?

[Prem]

They should go for it.

Instead of another romanticised tale of Khilji or Akbar type kings,

this will be way more fun.

[Devendra]

It's a great decision. Ancient and medieval India have GOAT‑level storylines. While many think medieval Muslim rulers were only about conquest, Hindu rulers had a wide range of achievements.

[Manisha]

They're coming off two consecutive blockbusters, so massive hype is expected!

[Jasmin]

Cast KK as Chanakya and the world will be waiting eagerly for the movie.

[Firoz]

Ranveer's side profile looks absolutely gorgeous.

[Anil]

I could bet my money on them. The dynamic, terrific duo is setting a new paradigm for the artist and his muse. Love, love ❤️

[Bhavana]

I really hope this is true

[Ehsan]

If the quality is on the level of Dhurandhar and Uri, I'm all in. This film could spark interest in Indian history beyond the British or Mughals.

[Alok]

What happened to the Ashwathama project? I thought that was Aditya Dhar's next film.

[Ujjwal]

I care about who they cast as Chanakya. Simple as that.
