I'm not sure what to say, but there must be a way to stop this.

Chirag

This is happening all over India. We're turning into a garbage nation because folks just won't learn basic civic sense.

Rupali

You can't take the Indian out of India... this seems to be our nature now. We're doomed beyond repair.

Tanya

The garbage problem in India is really bad. Plastic bottles and wrappers are the main culprits and we don't have good alternatives. The future looks bleak unless we develop some basic civic sense.

Nisha

Looks like someone dumped waste out of the bin. The whole system is messed up. I did my part by using the bin, but if the shopkeeper tosses it out like that, that's on him. And if the municipal workers don't collect it from the shopkeeper, that's on them.

I want to say something: tourists bring plastic items like bottles and wrappers, right? If they're not allowed, why are they sold at tourist spots? If they're sold, people will buy them. If you're that concerned, we need to stop selling them at tourist places first. Tell them that if they come straight to nature, they must stay natural. So there are only two options: 1) tourist spots without plastic, or 2) allow plastic with tourists. Wherever a person goes, they'll create waste. That's why I don't like having anyone come into my house.

Neeraj

To stop this, we Indians need to be fined heavily on both sides.

Aftab

People like that should be heavily taxed and jailed; this is just disgusting.

Cricfan

We should start a collective movement to call out littering on the spot. The government can't do much if ordinary people aren't willing to change. It has to be a people‑led initiative, that's the only way to turn things around.
