My name is Harish. I completed 12th in 2022, studied PCB. I got distinction in both 10th and 12th. NEET UG attempts: 2023 – 1st attempt – 134 marks, 2024 – 2nd attempt – 209 marks, 2025 – 3rd attempt – 154 marks, 2026 – didn't fill the form. I'm 21 years old. I didn't put any effort for NEET UG, 0 percent. My maths is weak. Which courses would be best for me?

Vikram

Can you tell me what percentage a distinction actually means?

If you're interested in research, do a B.Sc. in a subject you like. B.Sc. Nursing is also a good option if you want decent earnings. You could also do pharma and work in pharma companies. If you scored 75%+ in 10th and 12th, you can pursue an MBA after graduation.

You could do B.Sc. + B.Ed/D.Ed and aim for a teaching job in a state government school. Alternatively, pursue M.Sc., clear NET/JRF and look for an Assistant Professor position, or go for a Ph.D. While doing M.Sc., you can also prepare for UPSC or state exams for Grade 2/3 posts. (My English is not great.)

I feel lost and need advice. I have a three‑year gap after 12th because of personal reasons and NEET attempts, and I also have a B.Com degree from a tier‑3 college. What should I do to succeed? How can I get a job with this resume? I'm looking for a non‑voice job that matches my degree, ideally 2–4 LPA.

You can appear for NCET and choose either B.A. B.Ed or B.Sc. B.Ed under the ITEP programme.

Jobs related to forests like ranger or geology could be options.
