I'm fed up with having to use proxies and VPNs.

Kanchan

Even editing isn't there.

I know there's a reason, but I'm addicted to it.

Telegram knows how to deal with censorship and authoritarian regimes; they haven't held back their comments on the Indian government.

Ishita

Messages are coming through, but GIFs and files aren't loading.

Simran

The bottom line is that Telegram's privacy claims actually hold water. At least the Indian government can't stop what gets shared on the app.

India is one of the biggest markets for Telegram, with over 104-150 million active users. Lots of small businesses, online coaching, etc., rely on Telegram.

Now look at Telegram's rival.

WhatsApp's parent company, Mera, holds a 9.99% stake in Jio. You know who's behind that.

It could be a subtle push to move regular Telegram users to WhatsApp :).

Just my guess, based on how much sway the Ambanis have over the current central govt.

Nisha

Telegram will be back and the paper leak will already be out, lol.

Vivek

I'm so exhausted with this damn country...

Sonal

I'm really enjoying the Telegram banter on X.
