Aur bhai, ab naye iPhones mein koi naya feature hi nahi aata, bas wahi purane gisse chal rahe hain. Pehle asli features aate the, tab excitement bhi hoti thi.

Gopal

But iPhones are the ones I've seen last the longest.

Bhavin

She's referring to the battery‑gate issue where older iPhones throttle the CPU to avoid sudden shutdowns.

Every manufacturer does the same thing.

Latha

I figured this has been common knowledge for the past five years.

Ayaan

That's called planned obsolescence. Apple even faced a lawsuit in Europe over it.

Nandini

So despite all that, the iPhone X still works flawlessly? Wonder how.

My Samsung S22 updated itself overnight even though I turned off auto‑update. Next morning I saw two green lines on the screen. It worked fine for three years and then this happened. The service centre quoted me half the phone's price, as usual. I work in a corporate job and earn enough to eventually afford an iPhone. Whenever family or colleagues ask why I don't just buy a new phone, I tell them the phone works fine; it's just an unfortunate visual glitch. For me it's about principle – I paid a hefty amount and expect it to last. I even bragged that I got these lines just after the one‑year warranty, and managed to steer two friends towards Pixel and iPhone instead of Samsung.
