How much do board percentages really matter in the long run, I mean do they actually affect placements

My class 12th boards are on right now and to be honest I am not doing great in them, so I know my percentage is not going to be that good. The only reason I am really worried is that I am thinking what if my low board percentage causes problems for me when I am trying to get placed from college.

Getting 60% is a good thing, it keeps you in a safe place where you don't have to worry about being disqualified from things. It might be a problem if you want to do an MBA or get placed on campus, because some companies want you to have 70% or more. But after that, nobody really cares.

Murali

It really depends on how bad your percentage is, I mean if you are talking about 75% or something then it is decent and you can manage, but if it is below that then it starts to get tough, and if it is below 60 then it is pretty bad.

To be honest, now that we have all these exams like cuet, jee, neet, I don't think board percentages are that important anymore. Of course, if you are planning to do an MBA, a lot of colleges do consider your 10th and 12th marks after you take the CAT.

Ramesh

Hey, don't worry too much about your board results, it is the long game that matters, not just the short term.

Naresh

It depends on whether you get into college based on your 12th marks or if you get in through a competitive exam score

Kishore

Let's be real, having money from your family is what really matters

Cinemapicha

It really depends on what you want to do in life, if you want to do engineering then it is not that important, but if you want to do an MBA then it does matter.

Anil

It only matters for MBA, and even then you need to have 90% or more to be considered good

Nisha

On a different note, what are the benefits of having a good percentage in 10th and 12th, I am asking because I got 95% or more in both.
