I finally will be employed again after 5 months of having nothing and feeling like a failure. I almost gave up when I applied for this role through jobcat. This still doesn't feel real because I waited for about two months for their response and kind of forgot about it until yesterday. We're having our first meeting today, more like onboarding, and will be introduced to the other team members.

The company is US based so it's completely remote and fully flexible, which is the best part. Just two days earlier I was regretting everything and today I cannot stress enough how grateful I am. I rarely use LinkedIn and prefer other platforms; we work remote and use Otta. I also made sure my resume matches the kind of role I'm after and after a few trial and errors I think I cracked it.

Congrats to you and thanks for giving me hope. I'm 3 months into the journey, almost ready to give up and questioning my worth. I'll keep trying.

Satish

Hang in there, buddy. Breakthroughs are often just around the corner. There's no point in giving up. Keep trying. You've been giving it your best so far.

Tanya

Same 3 months in, gave 4 interviews but all have been kept on hold since I'm a fresher. They like me but don't have the bandwidth to train me for 3-4 months, so I've been on hold :(

Bhai, I also don't use LinkedIn. It's really tough to reach out to hiring managers and HRs. Can you guide me?

Devansh

How do you guys land US jobs? Are you in tech?

Umesh

Very inspiring, OP. Can you tell us how you landed this remote role?

Tanuja

Same, buddy.

I prepared a lot but never got an interview. Then, when I almost gave up hope, I got a call and thankfully got in.

Keep going.

Vivek

Oh lovely bro. Congratulations.

I hope I find my charm again.
