Has anyone else noticed this in their soy chunks? Is it safe to eat?

Suraj

Note: I've inspected them carefully – they're not worms or insects.

Pavithra

If it's Saffola, it's probably fine - just emotionally damaged soy chunks :))

Aftab

No, I haven't come across it. Maybe ask a professional.

Amar

I've seen it in my Fortune brand too. Being in India, I stopped being pedantic about every tiny detail to hit my protein goals.

Vasant

I've never seen that in my soy chunks. I buy from Zoff and Daily Good.

Tanya

Soya chunks are made from the leftover cake after oil extraction. The high temperature can burn some soy particles, which may show up as black specks in the final product, but it's usually not a problem.

Kartik

Not sure, but they could be insects called beetles, or just residues. Better avoid eating them – who knows what they are.
