I'm an 18‑year‑old girl who cleared 12th with PCB (72%) and 10th with 91%. I took a drop for NEET but I'm sure I don't want to pursue the medical route any more. I'm seriously looking at two options – B.Pharm or Psychology. My mom works in pharma, so I know the field can be slow to grow unless you specialise or do an MBA later, though I've also seen good earnings. I love psychology, especially understanding people and behaviour, but it feels very trendy online and I'm not sure about the salary reality in India. My main priorities are good money, career growth, stability and not regretting my degree later (just like I regret doing NEET). What's the actual reality from people studying or working in these fields? Which one has better long‑term scope in India?

Arvind

I'm in the same boat – I'll be going with B.Pharm.

I would have picked B.Pharm, but after getting an RT in Biology ✌ I'll stick to BA Psychology and learn AI at the same time, because psychology is one of the few fields AI can't fully replace. Just my take.

Tanya

I'm from PCM, not PCB, and I've been learning a lot about AI and its applications. I think B.Pharm is a good choice, but AI could replace some roles, so I'd suggest having 2‑3 backup plans or picking up some tech or data‑science skills alongside.

Satish

We're on the same page – B.Pharm is better.

Deepak

Which are the best colleges for studying B.Pharm?

Suresh

Consider biotechnology as another option.

Priya

Do B.Pharm honestly. Since your mom is already in the field, you'll know what to expect and what mistakes to avoid. It also offers good career growth abroad.

Ujjwal

I was in the same situation; now I'm doing a bachelor's in microbiology.

Psychology is a fascinating subject and you'll enjoy studying it, but don't count on many job openings – you'll mostly be competing for limited government seats.
