Samsung S26 green line issue.

Don't be a fanboy. If there's a problem, accept it. I keep seeing folks claim Samsung doesn't have this green line problem anymore.

Someone posted on the Samsung Galaxy subreddit saying it showed up right after the May security update.

I don't know why some people get offended when others talk about issues. Some genuinely share their experiences and look for advice. Why do these NPCs take offence? It's not even aimed at them.

I'm glad I left that scam.

Not gonna lie, I was into the brand since the S23 launch and was turning into a fanboy, but they're getting greedy now. They need to improve beyond just pushing AI and weird customisation.

Even Apple is stepping up. Wake up, scam!

Samsung fanboys live in their own world... they'll even defend this.

I got a green line on my S23 and a camera hardware defect on the S25U.

Never buying a Samsung again.

The comment section is just garbage. Most replies are either 'I've bought so many Samsung devices and never faced this issue' or 'This happens on other phones too'. Too brainwashed to even criticize the brand for lousy products. This is probably the third or fourth post about the green line on a flagship in that sub.

I wanted to swap my iPhone 15 for an S22 Ultra, but all I saw were swapped displays or green lines, so I gave up on switching to anything except Apple.

I'm not saying iPhones don't have issues, but the service experience and after-warranty support I got were unreal compared to any other brand. They really lack professionalism.

Malini

Got white lines on my S21 FE for the second time yesterday. I got the original display from Samsung last year.

Man, I'm neither a Samsung hater nor a fanboy. Samsung probably has the best software skin after stock Android, but they really need to step up their hardware, especially the display line issue. They should have announced free replacements like OnePlus did.
I sold my 1-year-old Samsung S23 because of the green line, even though I took proper care while charging (used a mobile cooler). The line appeared right after tripping Knox, and Samsung denied a free replacement.
