Hi all,

I'm working as a NOC Engineer at an ISP. I did my B.Tech from a tier‑3 college and I'm doing a part‑time M.E. in Communication Systems. I have about 3 years and 7 months of experience in networking.

But I feel stuck in this role. I'm not getting enough exposure to advanced tech or hands‑on projects, and sometimes it feels like I'm wasting valuable years. Even with the experience, moving to a better role with good growth seems tough.

I'd love some genuine advice from seasoned pros:

- Should I stay in Networking/NOC and upskill further?
- Or should I shift to Cloud, Cybersecurity, DevOps, AI, Telecom Core, or Network Automation?
- Which field gives better long‑term growth for someone like me?
- What skills or certifications will truly help me move forward?

I'm ready to learn and put in the effort, but I don't want to spend more years without proper career growth.

I'd really appreciate real suggestions from those who've been through a similar phase.
