1. IGN isn't a single person.

2. Who cares? You can like things even if they aren't highly rated.

Ajay

I just use IGN to watch new game trailers; that's pretty much all they have these days.

Sumit

Too much water? Why does every post here sound like everyone already knows the context of what they're saying?

Kishore

'Too much water' is actually a valid point. Pokemon ORAS has that issue – the water areas are full of random encounters, which is annoying even with repels. I hated those games because there's so much water; every few steps, boom, an encounter. It's funny how people complain about it when it makes perfect sense for that game.

Cinemapicha

IGN, despite its popularity, still writes it as a personal review & isn't meant to match everyone's experience.

Okay.

1) It's not that serious.

2) IGN is a massive media company with multiple writers and journalists, each with their own opinion.

3) Giving your favourite game a lower score than you expected isn't the same as dragging you behind a shed and shooting you in the foot. It's just the writer's subjective view. If you don't agree, politely disagree and move on like a normal, well‑adjusted adult.

4) Whining about game publications and their opinions is pathetic. Form your own.

Ashwin

Or you can form your own opinions on your favourite games instead of getting hung up on a score from someone on the internet.

Tell me you never actually read or watched that Pokemon review, because if you did you'd understand what that sentence actually means and that it's a valid criticism of the game.
