Some Bollywood mass moments just stick with you because the actors own the screen with pure presence. Amitabh Bachchan smashing the goons in the godown in Deewaar still feels intense even after decades. Shah Rukh Khan in the climax of Don 2 carries that cold, untouchable mastermind vibe throughout the whole sequence. Aamir Khan in Dangal after beating the state-level champion is genuinely satisfying, thanks to the struggle and buildup. Salman Khan revealing his true identity in the climax of Wanted is peak mass cinema – you could hear the theatres erupt. And Ranbir Kapoor lighting a cigarette after the axe fight in Animal looks effortlessly badass, matching his violent character perfectly. These scenes work because the actors completely own the moment without needing many dialogues.

Sameer

Advik

The scene in Jawan where King Khan descends from the mountain and wipes out all the bad guys. The moment in Singham where the main villain gets hunted down like every crook deserves. And the sequence in Dabangg where Bhaijaan snaps the neck of the kidnapper trying to steal the bride during her wedding ceremony.

Pranay

I don't get why people are mocking SRK, but the final scene of Don where he says 'mujhe bhi jungli billiyaan bohot pasand hain' was colder than any Salman Khan aura moment.

Aarohi

A mass scene is basically hero elevation - a moment that lifts the hero (or another character) to larger-than-life status and makes the audience react. Since some folks here are a bit dismissive, let me point out a few SRK scenes besides the usual Vikram Rathore stuff. The first one that pops up is the CDI interval after the McDonald's fight. After everyone loses hope and turns against him, you'd expect an emotional reconciliation, but instead SRK smiles, puts on his glasses, says 'I want everyone in the field tomorrow morning' and walks off, with the background music swelling as the team moves forward in the shadows. Then there's the Baazigar showdown where SRK confronts Madan Chopra - the dialogue is strong, but the blood-splattered face, trembling lips and enraged eyes of a man who's lost his mind say it all. In Raees the riot scene, SRK walks out of the smoke amid chaos, proving his word. At the climax, Nawaz surrounds the police to shoot Raees, but Raees stays one step ahead, bringing the media along so the cops can't act. And of course, the whole of Jawan is packed with such moments.

Indrajit

Salman Khan's reveal scene in Wanted is pure mass energy.

Dilip

Whatever Sunny Paji did in that iconic Ghatak moment and in Damini was pure mass magic.

Arjit

The Jawan cigarette-by-bike-tyre shot is one of those mass moments that turned me into a Shah Rukh fan.

Chandni

Not trying to be a hater, just my take - Animal was a flop and there was nothing badass about Ranbir's character, lol. I still agree with the other suggestions though!
