Why is only Kareena mocked for overacting while Hrithik gets equal flak?

But why does everyone overlook Hrithik's terrible, over‑the‑top cringe performance in the same movie? In a few scenes he's actually worse than Kareena; he can't pull off loud OTT characters without looking fake. Even if we excuse it by saying that's how his role was written, why bother hating on Kareena's part? She was just doing what the director asked. The whole thing is a classic brain‑rot gem. No idea how SB convinced anyone, including himself, that this film could work.
