My qualifications: 12th passed with PCB. I have NEET on 3rd May, but I doubt I'll get selected because the past few years have been exhausting. I love psychology a lot and want to help people while staying financially stable. On Reddit I see many people struggling with low salaries, which scares me. Is becoming a clinical psychologist worth it? I'm also unsure about colleges because there are very few BSc programs in psychology. I could do a BA in psychology, but moving from a science background to a literature‑based degree feels uncertain. I'm ready to drop the BSc idea since there are no colleges, and instead do BA, then MA, then MPhil. But is it really worth it in India to become an RCI‑licensed clinical psychologist? I'm totally scared, lost and confused because I have no interest in microbiology, radiology, biotech, etc.

Psychology salaries here are average unless you set up a private practice in a big city. It takes years and the market is tough.
