I travel a lot across India for work and I've seen some great gyms in every town and village I've visited.

Unlike the West, where youngsters get access to skill‑building opportunities like decent summer jobs, skiing, swimming, sports, and nice nature spots, people in small Indian towns and villages often have only the gym for recreation. They can't go clubbing or stroll along a seaside promenade like folks in coastal metros. Their quality‑of‑life outlook is pretty grim, except for the gym.

That's why, no matter where you go, every town in this country seems to have a decent gym.
