I (25F) went on a date with this really cute girl (23F) yesterday. We had amazing conversation and she seems keen to meet again – I feel the same.

Just so you know, I'm about to turn 26, I've had a boyfriend before, I'm an Indian who's been living in the US for five years. She's 23, Chinese, just moved here for work and has never been in a relationship or even kissed anyone.

Yesterday we met at a park and spent five hours getting to know each other. We clicked, held hands and I even showed her my apartment's common area and the terrace where it was pretty quiet. I was hoping for at least a kiss or a hug or some light physical contact, but nothing happened.

We can't go back to our apartments because of roommates, and since she's never had any physical intimacy, I'm finding it tough to break the ice.

For our second date next weekend I'm thinking of a private karaoke room (I'm in Seattle). Do you think it's a safe place to make out – just a kiss, cuddle, some touch, not undressing or sex, more like an intense make‑out? I checked reviews – over 2000 ratings, looks good. Do these private rooms have cameras in the US?

Has anyone tried this? I'm really attracted to her and want to make out. I'm curious about how it feels with a girl. I'm nervous, shy and actually scared to make the first move. I'll be away on a business trip for three weeks and want this second date to be memorable before I leave.

TL;DR:
1. How can I break the ice and start physical intimacy without it being awkward, given she's never even kissed anyone?
2. Since we can't go to our apartments, is a private karaoke room a good spot for a make‑out? Any experiences?

A karaoke room is a solid idea. I'm not sure about cameras, but that's up to you to check. Since you've already held hands, she's probably comfortable. You could try a hug when you meet and slowly move closer; if the chemistry clicks, things will happen. Best of luck, girl – have a great date!

I think this belongs in a US‑focused subreddit rather than here. Hope you have a great time with her.

Most karaoke rooms don't have cameras, but it depends on the venue, so maybe skim a few reviews to be sure. When you chat with her beforehand, you could subtly hint that you'd like to kiss, so she knows your intent before the date.
