Their milk isn't exactly pure, so I wonder what the situation is with their protein.

Asha

Usme unfair advantage kya hai? Processing ka kharcha nahi lagta kya? Kahin likha hai ki main product se milne wala by‑product bechna unfair hai?

Basavaraj

It's not an unfair advantage, just a simple advantage. Some people call these influencers dummies, smh.

Free ka gyan – pad ke samajh, sunhiye aur aage badhiye.

Is the price difference really that big? I don't think so.

Tanuja

To itna mehenga kyun hai? Agar itna hi unfair advantage hai to.

Lol, Amul is a giant company. Even before whey protein supplements became popular, Amul sold its whey to local protein manufacturers. They also exported whey abroad. And it's not just Amul – any big milk firm that makes cheese or paneer sells whey to nutraceutical companies. Only now are they entering the big, profitable protein‑powder market because they can compete on price per kilogram.

Sagar

Most influencers don't know that domestic whey production is still costlier than imports, which is why Amul isn't the cheapest whey.

Tejas

But there are many milk companies - why aren't they launching their own protein powders?
