Mithila Palkar, who is 33, is cast as Akshay Kumar's sister in Bhoot Bangla, and 32‑year‑old Wamiqa Gabbi is his love interest. It's a total cringefest. Why can't they get age‑appropriate actors?

But he's playing a guy who's 30 or younger, and he doesn't even look that old.

Just wait till you see how old his on‑screen father is.

That's the issue with most Bollywood and Tollywood films. In Mollywood they don't make cringe movies like this. Akshay Kumar is remaking good Mollywood movies and turning them into trash.

Isn't Dacoit in theatres with age‑appropriate actors? How much will it earn? Most of the audience is there just because Akshay Kumar and Priyadarshan are teaming up; the rest doesn't really matter.

As long as people keep watching, they'll keep making movies like this. The online chatter doesn't reflect box‑office numbers or the general audience's perception.

Mithila doesn't even look 33, though.

Mithila looks younger than Wamiqa, but Akshay definitely didn't look that young. Even if he were 40, his dad still wouldn't look older, despite the grey hair. Actors like Akshay, SRK and Salman still enjoy stardom even as millennials. If you cast age‑appropriate actors opposite them, they should be at least 45+. There are actresses over 45, but directors prefer newcomers, and the older ones usually demand high fees.

Many young actresses lobby to be cast alongside big stars to boost their fame.

So many factors come into play.
