My friends study there. The ROI is poor, but it's a decent college. If you can pay cash, avoid loans, and understand that without hard work you'll end up with a 3.5 LPA salary from average companies, it's fine. There are definitely substances around, but not everyone uses them. I'd personally recommend the main campus over the Jaipur one, even for weaker branches, because the Udipi campus feels like a mid-tier NIT.
