AI‑generated videos will ruin our industry

This still comes from the "Adaavadi" music video by LIK, btw. It's not just this frame – every animated clip with the robot looks clearly AI‑generated. Anyone who's spent a decent amount of time online can spot it.

It's embarrassing for Sony Music Video, Rowdy Pictures, Seven Screen Studio, Anirudh... I could go on. Coz they either saw it and didn't care, or weren't keen enough to check their own content. Both are bad. I'm not the "AI is taking over jobs" type, but there are things AI just isn't ready for yet.

Best part? No news coverage, no YouTube comments, nothing. It doesn't even look good – AI‑made videos always have that blur and over‑sharpened look. This will kill passionate artists, crush creativity and eventually ruin the whole industry. Whoever did this should be sacked and blacklisted.

AI was meant to handle the boring, repetitive, pointless tasks so we could have more time and energy for creative work and the arts. But look how things have turned. *sigh

I'm glad more people are calling out this slop – it needs to go right now.

You really think Anirudh isn't using AI in his songs?

Vinod

You can report the video – YouTube requires creators to disclose if they use AI visuals.

I was expecting the VFX work to be done on time, not delayed.

Tejas

I cringed through the whole song. The repeated "fahh" bits and this AI abomination... man, the video was pure brain‑rot, not gonna lie. The only thing I liked was that Anirudh didn't sing it and gave someone else a chance.

Neha

I mean, just look at the robot itself, man

The problem is a huge part of our population is tech‑ and economy‑illiterate. Even kids today don't get net neutrality, decentralisation, product ownership, or the fallout of an everything‑as‑a‑service economy we're rushing into.

The immediate result is voting for an unqualified government that's clueless about steering the country through these challenges.
