It's the only film that truly deserves to smash Baahubali's records. Thank God that 'flower nahi fire hai' didn't beat it.

Let's go! The only record left is Dangal's, and it'll be broken soon – even though it's an A-rated film with no Middle East release.

The film is great, but our people keep acting within the same limits. Filmmaking always depends on Vanga and Rajamouli. They only focus on remuneration, not on performance. Ranveer Singh's filmography shows a lot of varied characters. Actors like Kamal Haasan and Mohanlal have that versatility, and even Ranbir and Vicky bring it. Here, the hero isn't that special. Fans keep worshipping heroes for ages. Movies by directors like Rajamouli and Vanga keep the TFI thriving, but eventually they'll fade.

Latha

Well deserved. Kudos to the producers for not getting greedy and raising ticket prices.

Well-earned win! Happy for the team. :) Glad that fluff like KGF, Pushpa or Salaar didn't knock BB2 off the top, and it's actually a content-rich film that did.

Mann, I love this sub and the folks, obviously!! People aren't sad or trash-talking a film from another region that's dethroning their BEST FILM. If you think that's normal or not a big deal, you have no clue what goes down in the comment sections of other subs when an out-of-region movie does well. I don't use collections to judge a film's quality, but when a good movie breaks a record, everyone should be happy (like they are here), yet it rarely happens. W People Frr

The massive success of Dhurandhar – Part 1 & 2 also stems from stable ticket prices; they weren't hiked, and the film was top-notch in every department, paving the way for its long run. Part 1 was still running in many theatres on the day Part 2 previews started, and tickets kept selling. I hope TFI producers take note and keep prices steady. If Varanasi wants to out-collect BB2 and D-1 & 2, they must keep ticket rates in check.

Kishore

Deserving. Hopefully Varanasi sets an even bigger target while keeping ticket prices low.

I have a strong gut feeling Rajamouli sir will dive into the spy genre after Mahabharata because it suits him. An Indian James Bond with heavy sci-fi elements is something audiences will definitely crave.
