Uncle may not know, but Chinese school kids are given money to eat food that's rich in protein. To put it in perspective, the average height of young people in China is about 5'9. They don't have to worry because they're already getting enough protein without even asking – the government makes sure of that.

Suresh

Brother, anyone getting irritated by this just has a fragile ego and nothing else.

Kanchan

People are worried about protein because folks are getting sick at a younger age in India, even though we're earning more. Protein keeps you full and is the only easy option besides loading up on junk packaged foods when you're stressed. In a country like India, where we used to have more space to think about our lives, we'd talk more about a wholesome diet, but among all macros, protein is the only one whose quick form doesn't make you feel guilty. So it's fine if people keep talking about it.

Arpita

Even if there's no food adulteration, we'll still complain because the Indian diet itself is poor.

There are many good points, but saying healthcare is great in the UK or USA isn't true. In the UK you can't even get a dental check‑up without flashing your insurance receipt, and it's the same in the USA. People are resorting to self‑diagnosis because medical care is outrageously expensive.

Sadly, even with those issues, the UK and USA are still a league ahead of us.

For innovation we need capital investment. Our country is busy pouring that money into things like AYUSH and trying to find a cancer cure in cow dung https://www.science.org/content/article/indian-scientists-decry-infuriating-scheme-study-benefits-cow-dung-urine-and-milk

https://educationpost.in/news/national/cow-cure-cancer-research-in-madhya-pradesh-under-financial-cloud rather than directing the same funds to real medical research and fixing the crumbling hospital infrastructure.

Being Indian isn't something to be proud of; if anyone is, they're gay.

Anirudh

He's kinda right, but we can't blame the youth alone. It's a mix of many factors – like the food we eat. Our education system is also the worst.

Sameer

Everything else is fine, but stop comparing India with China. If China's level and ideology were introduced here, these same people would be the first to hit the streets protesting.

Sharmila

Dude totally praised American food and healthcare.
