We Nepalese are proud of our mountains. It was truly disappointing to see Indian tourists throwing garbage in the Annapurna Conservation Area.

Visit, enjoy, pray, trek - just please respect nature.

Arjun

100% justified. They'll try to gas‑light you.

Shailesh

Obviously it's the Gujjars - the worst of all.

Naveen

Why do people travel when they lack basic common sense? It's hard to find clean, tidy places because of folks like this.

Mahesh

Thanks for holding them accountable - I really can't stand these people.

Sanjay

A 50‑litre car and an IQ below 50 seem to be enough for these people, and then they ask why they're treated differently in some places.

Gujjaris are the worst travel companions.

Dilip

As an Indian, I think they should be banned and fined at least 20,000 rupees. That's the only way they'll learn. We're being too lenient. We never change without a fine or punishment. Look at seatbelts - people wear them because of fines, not safety.

Chiranjit

Can the Nepal government make this a punishable offence?

Legally allow any citizen who sees someone littering to call the police, and let the police arrest the offender.

That's the only solution, because even if they pick up the trash now, they might just dump it elsewhere later.
