Ministry of Railways says - "Today, after a fire was reported in a Mithila Express coach at Howrah, our team investigated and found a half-burnt towel soaked in petrol. The railway staff acted quickly and got the situation under control, preventing a big disaster. Early findings point to anti-social elements trying to endanger passenger safety and create fear in the rail system. The Railway Protection Force and other agencies are now probing the matter thoroughly."
