Ishan Kishan smashed a brilliant 70 off 47 balls, steering SRH to a 5-wicket win over CSK and clinching a playoff spot for Hyderabad.

Sahil

Can't blame Ishan; he was a key player for MI, so it's natural.

As a CSK fan I liked his whistle celebration, but waving the fans away felt disrespectful. It was CSK's last home game and a thank-you celebration had been announced. Plus Thala was in the stadium for the first time this season, so asking fans to leave was rude. In SRH's next home game they'll give an emotional send-off and thank the supporters, so I felt the gesture was a bit rude.

Shekar

That makes sense. SRH beating CSK at Chepauk is a huge achievement they can be proud of. I hope CSK's players and management notice it and come back stronger next year. We'll remember the disrespect at our lowest. They could have done the same in 2018 when we won 4-0 against them, but class is different.

Jasmin

Fans shouldn't take the mockery personally or let their egos spoil the sport.

Anna's daily routine is: wake up, swallow bitter pills, put the eco chambers to sleep, repeat... I'm a huge MS fan, but I can't defend that shrill whistle noise around the ground. Cricket needs focus; cheering is fine but it becomes a disturbance after a point.

Dayanand

Ashwin admitted that despite the controversy, he personally enjoyed the competitive spirit.

Ashwin joked that if CSK beats SRH at their own ground next time, they could get even by celebrating the same way there.

Simran

Ashwin told the angry CSK fans not to see it as arrogance or a personal insult.
