I had a really bad experience with Samsung India, they charged me ₹20,910 for a display that had a manufacturing defect, and now they want ₹26,502 more to fix the issue, which is pretty ridiculous, they also faked some government records to close my complaint

There is no model number, no purchase date, no bills, what are we even supposed to say

I am reading this post on my S22 ultra which has 2 green lines and 2 white lines and is over 4 years old, I am waiting to upgrade to the S25 ultra

I totally get why people call Samsung scamsung, my friend's A73 had a green line issue twice in just 6 months after he did some software updates, the first time he paid 8K for the display replacement, and then after 6 months the issue came back and Samsung asked him for another 8K

Once you are done dealing with Samsung's poor service, make a promise to yourself that you will never buy a Samsung product again

I think it is a good idea to not update your phone without checking how the update will perform, it is not the most exciting thing to do, but it can help your phone last longer

I was about to buy the S24U two years ago, but then I saw the display unit of the OnePlus 12 and I was really impressed, the zoom and camera were not as good as the S24U, but they were close enough, so I did some research and found out that OnePlus had some issues with green lines on their older models, but they replaced the screens for free even after the warranty was over, or they would upgrade your device if you paid the difference

Tanya

If the green line is a result of a software update, then why does the screen need to be replaced, it does not make sense

Saad

Someone should really start a lawsuit against Samsung and get a lot of people to sign it

From my experience with Samsung products, when they say 1 year warranty, they mean it literally, exactly after 1 year your Samsung device will start having multiple issues
