Has anyone received a WFH email from their company yet?

After the PM's speech, there's a lot of talk about WFH for IT staff. Has anyone got such an email? If yes, what's the duration they're offering?

I also heard the Zoho founder is doing something similar.

It was just a recommendation. Companies won't act on a recommendation. Unless there's a clear GO or policy rollout, nothing will change.

Also, remember many firms shifted to WFO originally because politicians were worried about falling rental incomes.

Nope, we won't get it now or later. This is India - suggestions and advice mean nothing. Only a government directive, like during Covid, will make corporates act. Otherwise, it's not happening.

It will only happen if the PM tells every state to roll out regional WFH measures.

Right now we have enough oil for about two more months. If relations improve between the U.S. and Iran and Hormuz opens, it might not even be needed.
