IPL fatigue this season?

Since there are 10 teams in the IPL these days, the number of matches has gone up, and with a lot of T20 internationals right before the league, we might be seeing an overload of T20 cricket. You can see it from empty seats at many games and a general dip in the buzz and excitement. Is this really happening?

Subhash

No, it's because their team is playing terribly this season.

Harini

It's just KKR performing poorly.

Shivam

When your team doesn't perform, the seats stay empty. There's no fatigue. Look at stadiums in Bangalore and Punjab - you won't find a single empty seat even during day matches.

Sachin

No, that was due to the chance of rain that day. Also KKR is playing terribly this season, so obviously their home crowd doesn't want to keep watching them lose.

Kalpana

We need more slots for overseas players and should remove the impact sub. Also, make the pitches balanced so bowling and batting are even.

I don't know, but this year's IPL feels boring! Too much cricket, even though my team (RCB) is playing well. I just don't feel like watching the full match, even RCB games. My cousins and everyone else have stopped watching IPL; I'm the only one still tuning in.

Laksh

Prices are highly inflated
Poor bowling conditions
Irritating DRS calls for wides and no-balls

Esha

It's only Eden Gardens - other stadiums have good attendance.

Rupali

It's just KKR; there's no buzz around that team.
